SYNOPSIS


While his editor is on vacation, Tim is taking care
of his dog, George, but the dog is slowly wasting away and
won't even touch his food.  Uncle Martin uses his Martian
abilities to talk to George, and discovers what's wrong with
him -- he's in love!  The object of his love is the dog next
door who is being kept inside by her man-hating mistress.
After conferring with the object of George's affections, a
basset hound named Chloe, Uncle Martin tells Tim he'll have
to romance the girl and restore her faith in men so she'lllet
Chloe out.  Tim objects -- but if anything horrible happens
to his editor's dog, something equally horrible may happen to
his job.  Uncle Martin arranges a "chance meeting" for Tim
with the lovely and charming Marsha, and at last the two dogs
meet and George begins to recover.  But teenage Angela resents
Tim's new romantic interest and tells Marsha that Tim  is a
butterfly, flitting from girl to girl.  Tim gets the door
slammed in his face, and George suffers another relapse.  Once
again Uncle Martin has to come to the assistance of the lovelorn 
dogs, and reunites Marsha with her first love.  The dogs
are happy again, and Tim's job once more looks secure.
