SYNOPSIS 

Uncle Martin awakes on Sunday and to his shock finds he has 
VDM, which is vitamin deficiency in a Martian! It is an annoying 
problem in which he draws on his surroundings to make up for his 
deficiency. And if looked directly in the eye, he puts you to sleep! 
Tim puts Uncle Martin in contact with a lovable old pharmacist named 
Doc Mullen who will be able to, without knowing, give Uncle Martin the 
certain drugs and medicines he needs. He does this, then thinks he 
made a mistake and goes to Tim's apartment to correct it. He enters, 
talks to Tim and falls asleep! Mrs. Brown also falls asleep talking to 
Tim. Uncle Martin comes in to answer Tim's hollerings and he falls 
asleep! Leaving Tim staring and frightened. He has caught it! He's 
caught Uncle Martin's deficiency and has put everyone to sleep! When 
Uncle Martin comes "out" of it, he and Tim effect a plan. A way to get 
the needed medicines from Doc Mullen. But in the elaborate and 
involved scheme, Mrs. Brown enters with a bowl of hot chicken soup and 
changes all the intended events. As a result Uncle Martin is cured but 
winds up over compensated. No wait, until he sleeps it off, he makes 
everyone around him STRONG! and HEALTHY! and MUSCULAR! The 
story ends with Uncle Martin lying down on the bed. The bed can't take
his strength, and it crashes to the floor. Uncle Martin smiles and is 
grateful the floor boards at least hold him!
