SYNOPSIS 

While fixing TV antennae, a phone wire drops on Martin and 
he is transformed into a walking telephone... his head rings 
and we hear various conversations. 
 
Mrs. Brown has become enamored with Brennan, a detective 
on the police force. He was called in to find a purse that 
Mrs. Brown lost. With the Detective calling on Mrs. Brown, 
Martin is afraid he'll be discovered.  
 
One of the calls that comes through Martin's head involves a 
jewel robbery. If Martin can arrange for Brennan to solve the 
case, he will be promoted, sent to another district and get out 
of his hair.

From  the phone call,  Martin knows where the jewel will be 
passed  and to whom;  so he arranges for Brennan to make 
the arrest. But Brennan  refuses the  promotion. He's become 
fond of  Mrs. Brown and wants to stay around and  court her. 
Martin finally is able to  disconnect the phone  from his head, 
but he still doesn't like  the thought of  having Brennan 
around... he's an intellectual  rival as well  as a  rival for 
Mrs. Brown's attentions!
