SYNOPSIS 

Martin is feeling mighty low as Mother's Day approaches on 
Mars and he realizes he won't be home in time to celebrate it with his 
mother. However, he meets Cora Darling, a sweet little old lady who 
could be his mother's twin. As a vicarious present he changes the 
worthless ring she owns into a genuine diamond, not knowing she 
intends to sell it in order to make repairs to the aged house she 
shares with her sister Dora. The ring will revert to glass within 
twenty-four hours, and within that time, Martin must remodel the house 
and buy back the ring from the jeweler.
