SYNOPSIS
To test a method for getting home to Mars, Martin reduces
himself to four inches tall and has Tim place him in a wine
bottle filled with a special inert atmosphere that will keep
him tiny. Martin decides to check for side effects and convinces
Tim he can go to work, leaving him in the bottle. He assures
Tim nothing will happen. But when Tim leaves, the drapes blow into
the room, knocking Martin's bottle off the table into a carton of
canned goods set out for Mrs. Brown to pick up for her latest
charity, "Overseas Relief." And thus imprisoned he is delivered in
a "Care Package" to a needy young rugmaker in Baghdad.
When Abu opens the wine bottle, Martin bursts forth in full size and
Abu thinks he has liberated a genii. And Abu is in need of a genie -
his beloved fiancee, the beautiful Nadja, has been chosen to join the
Sultan's harem. Out of compassion and the need to escape any other
explanation for his presence, Martin accepts the role of genii to grant
Abu's wish.
Tim meets Martin and Abu on the way to the Sultan's harem. All are
caught in the harem trying to kidnap Nadja and the Sultan sentences
them to be beheaded. But Martin convinces the Sultan he is really a
genie by taking Abu, Nadja and Tim over the palace wall on a flying
carpet.
