SYNOPSIS
Martin's latest invention makes earthlings sweet and
full of good will. But it makes no apparent change in
Brennan, and Martin says it takes about twenty-four
hours to work. Worried, they use the futuroid camera
to see if Brennan will get into any trouble under the
influence. They see him confronted by a dangerous
bank robber, in serious jeopardy. Martin invents a
belt which will change the effect on Brennan but plans
backfire and Martin is tranquilized instead. Tim tries
desperately to get Martin back to normal, but to no
avail, and they have to go to the bank where the robbery
is to take place with Martin still tranquilized. Martin
accidentally changes the personality of the bank guard
to one of total benevolence and good will, spoiling any
possibility they might have had to get help from him.
Brennan enters the bank and discovers the bandit, Tolbert,
whom he greets like an old friend. But even tranquilized,
Martin manages to fix things: Tolbert greets Brennan
cordially and gives up his gun. Brennan and Tolbert, now the
best of friends walk arm and arm to the jail. They end up in
jail where Martin changes them back - Brennan is his
unpleasant self and Tolbert a desperado.
