Jay Sheffield SYNOPSIS Uncle Martin's extended stay on Earth has depleted his resistance to gravity. Exhausted and aging fast, Martin enlists Tim's help to remove some spaceship components from which they can fabricate a pair of wristwatch-type "degravitizers," necessary to save Martin's life. Since this is a problem even Martians have not had to solve before, the degravitizer invention is what earthlings consider "a calculated risk." Learning to operate the device is only the beginning of a series of calamitous and hysterical events Martin and Tim must endure until Martin is cured.
